Fred Durst checked in with his Twitter followers (@freddurst) recently, talking about wanting to be productive and positive on the micro blogging service. The Limp Bizkit frontman, who got some two dimensional face time with President Obama, writes:
Let’s build. There us a lot of power in this energy we put into our twitter thoughts. Let’s so something positive with it, together. Really.
We’re the misfits. The ones they count out. The ones they can’t hear, but rely on in too many ways. Let’s really make a difference, why not.

Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit posted a lyrics video from his home studio for the title track to ‘Gold Cobra’. “Here’s a little video I made for you troopers. Now you have no excuse to be fu**ing up the lyrics. Bring it,” Durst wrote. ‘Gold Cobra’ is the first new album since 2003’s Results May Vary and is due out on June 28th. Check it out at tudou.com.
Fred Durst was spotted outside ArcLight Hollywood Cinema on Thursday (December 23). The Limp Bizkit frontman signed autographs and told the paparazzi about his new film ‘The Pawnshop Chronicles’, describing it as “a hillbilly ‘Pulp Fiction'”. Watch Hollywood.tv footage via YouTube below.
Limp Bizkit talked with NME about their preparation process before hitting the stage at Leeds Festival 2010. “I guess before we go on stage, we do sort of a ritual,” frontman Fred Durst explained. “We kind of write new songs. Come up with new stuff. Just figured out a new one to put on ‘Gold Cobra’.”

Fred Durst is highly confident Limp Bizkit’s new record ‘Gold Cobra’ will be well received. “It’s all about the cobra right now,” Durst told Hollywood.tv outside Boa in Santa Monica the other night, adding that he hopes the album will come out June 22nd. Watch the footage via YouTube below.
Fred Durst apparently dared a waitress to consume a bottle of mustard for $2,000. TMZ caught up with the Limp Bikzit frontman, asking if he remembered the incident. Durst did, but had a hard time believing he gave the mustard consuming woman two grand. Video at MySpace has since been removed.

For those of you inquiring I will confirm that Esther and I have decided to go our separate ways and we both thank you for your support.
Fred Durst and Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit talked with NME backstage at Sonisphere 2009 over the weekend at Knebworth House. The pair discussed their process of putting aside their differences and coming back together, not taking things for granted, and their new album. “We feel very very confident about that,” Durst said of the CD they’ll begin recording in a couple weeks. “It’s a very exciting time for Limp Bizkit fans and for Limp Bizkit. Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst turned to his Twitter (@freddurst) to apologize for the band being forced to postpone their concert at Mandalay Bay Resort Event Center in Las Vegas. Durst writes:
On behalf of LB- I would like to apologize to anyone who made irreversible arrangements to be in Vegas 7/10 and cannot be in Vegas on 7/18.
It was out of our control completely. It really upsets me as well, and we will do our best to make it up to you. Sincerely, LB
