Zwan Goes Forward With New Songs, Old Sound
Anders Smith Lindall of the Chicago Sun-Times reviewed the Zwan show at Metro stage on Sunday night. He writes, “As the two-hour, 17-song set unfolded, the band only got better. Spiking their rock bombast with bits of metal, classic pop and even gospel, Zwan proved equally at home in the sludge of heavy riffage and the blaze of interstellar exploration–and, Corgan being Corgan, its eyes were firmly affixed to its bellybutton.” Suntimes.com has since removed the article.
