Linkin Park MC/vocalist Mike Shinoda tells Chart magazine that the band doesn’t always feel that they’re being properly represented. “People are only getting an interpretation of what we are,” Shinoda said. “The only way to really get a sense of what LP is, is to hear the album or come to the show. Even if you see us on music television, you’re still only getting their interpretation, their version of what LP is. That’s not what LP really is. Not to take anything away from them though, but if you really want to understand what this band is about, you have to see us live. Then, it’s only you, us, the music and your opinion.” Chartattack.com has since removed the article.
