Yeah Yeah Yeahs End Strokes Rumors

Nick Zinner, guitarist of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have refuted claims that the Strokes have proclaimed their group as being one of their favorite bands. The pair told MuchMusic, “No that’s not true. They never said that. [That is said] just because one of them wore one of our pins on a TV show. I like the band I think they’re great, we’re acquaintances, but in no circumstance have they gone out of their way and claimed us to be their favourite band,” said Zinner. “Don’t believe the hype, and don’t believe the rumours.”
