Wolfmother Not Buying Into Their Hype

When questioned about the massive hype that preceded their signing, Wolfmother singer Andrew Stockdale tells Beat magazine that it’s something the band never took to heart. “At the end of the day, we’re just concentrating on the music,” he said. “If people get into it and like it, then great. Hype is beyond our control, so we just do what we do. Really, that kind of pressure is more from yourself, rather than external. Pressure to make good music is not about living up to hype, as a musician, you should just want to make good music.”
