Wizards Of Ozzfest
Dan Aquilante of the New York Post reviewed the Ozzfest concert at the Jones Beach Theater Wednesday (July 14), where Black Sabbath headlined. “After the Bush-whacking opener, Ozzy Osbourne was every bit as charismatic, funny and down to earth as he is on his MTV reality series,” Aquilante said of Sabbath. “Surprisingly, he and his bandmates retain the spark of what made them great way back when. The band’s classic songs of death, apocalypse and destruction riddled its set, but there were no ballads — just hammer-of-the-gods metal.” The full review at nypost.com has since been removed.
