White Stripes Have Upper Hand On The Vines

Greg Kot of Metromix Chicago reviewed shows by the White Stripes and the Vines over the weekend at Metro, giving the nod to Jack and Meg. Kot said, “Whereas the White Stripes had three independent albums to forge their sound and refine their image before making the leap to a major label and the concurrent mainstream attention, the Vines haven’t had nearly as much time to live up to the title of their just-released debut, ‘Highly Evolved.'” Read more.
