Wes Scantlin Arrested After Drunken Performance
MTV News reports Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was placed in police custody Sunday night (February 22) after cutting the band’s set short in Toledo, Ohio and announcing he was too wasted to play. According to concertgoers, Scantlin was, by his own admission to the crowd, “too fu**ed up” to perform. Still, he remained onstage for half an hour after the band’s departure, shouting insults and profanity at the audience and singing songs that he seemed to make up as he went along. Read more.
