Vedder Sports Mohawk At Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame
Glenn Gamboa of Newsday was at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel Monday night where Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder inducted the Ramones. Eddie was sporting a mohawk and a soul patch when he told the audience, “(The Ramones) became a beacon for anyone who wanted to be in a band. Within weeks, kids were forming their own bands… You didn’t have to be a virtuoso or be genetically gifted with Elvis’ cheekbones… The Ramones were our Beatles.”
