USA Today’s Barnes Not Interested In Hair Metal Revival

USA Today music writer Ken Barnes took part in an online chat with readers on Tuesday and was asked when will the 80’s hair metal groups going make their triumphant comeback to the top of the album charts because the current era of bands like U2, , and are “too stale and safe.” Barnes responded, “Speak for yourself, dude. The longer we can go without a revival of the days of whine and Poison, the happier I’ll be. And it’s not as if Warrant and Ratt and Kix were actually ‘dangerous’ or ‘edgy’.”
