Underoath Won’t Change Songs Or Sound For Anybody

Despite sales success that appears to have reached mainstream levels for , vocalist Spencer Chamberlain tells Time Off magazine they aren’t pressured to put out a radio friendly sound. “We’ve never changed our songs or our sound for anybody,” he said. “We’re not played on the radio, we’re not changing our songs to get on MTV – we do what we want and I think a lot of kids respect that. Even if the record label says they’re going to drop us if we don’t write a poppy song then they can drop us, we don’t care. We’re not gonna change for anybody else.” The article at timeoff.com.au has since been removed.
