Underoath Won’t Change Songs Or Sound For Anybody
Despite sales success that appears to have reached mainstream levels for Underoath, vocalist Spencer Chamberlain tells Time Off magazine they aren’t pressured to put out a radio friendly sound. “We’ve never changed our songs or our sound for anybody,” he said. “We’re not played on the radio, we’re not changing our songs to get on MTV – we do what we want and I think a lot of kids respect that. Even if the record label says they’re going to drop us if we don’t write a poppy song then they can drop us, we don’t care. We’re not gonna change for anybody else.” The article at timeoff.com.au has since been removed.
