U2 Prevents Tom Morello From Becoming A Murderer
Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello profiled several albums that helped shape his sound, including The Clash’s ‘London Calling’, Jane’s Addiction’s ‘Nothing’s Shocking’, Living Color’s ‘Vivid’, and U2’s ‘The Joshua Tree’. On the U2 album, Morello remarked, “After I moved to Hollywood, I was mired in a series of degrading, soul-crushing menial jobs. For a while, I was a professional alphabetizer. Were it not for this album, I would’ve murdered someone.”
