Tom Morello: There’s Nothing Like Audioslave Out There

Audioslave are featured in the Target stores Spring/Summer issue of Bullseye, where Tom Morello turns his nose at a recent Rolling Stone cover. “I think they had The Vines on the cover [recently], and it said ‘Rock is Back’. And I was just like, ‘Dude, you got no idea how back rock is about to be.” Part of that is the unique sound of his new supergroup with Chris Cornell. “There’s certainly nothing like it out there now,” he said. “Our one job as musicians and artists is to make music that’s honest, and to make music that comes from the heart, and we’ve done that.”
