There’s Always Been A Little Of Everything Musically In Sum 41

Sum 41

spoke with TheBeijinger.com in a Q&A, where an unidentified member of the Canadian rock group talked about how being friends since high school and loving to tour has been the secret to their longevity, not worrying about trying to stay relevant, not feeling too bad about losing out with their Grammy nomination to the Foo Fighters, often getting confused as being Americans, listening to a lot of ’50s and ’60s music, and their latest LP ‘Screaming Bloody Murder’ being the favorite.

“From the beginning we’ve all always been into different styles of music, whether it’s punk, hard rock, metal, alternative, hip-hop, pop, etc.,” the Sum 41 member said about their sound. “So from the beginning there’s always been a little of everything in our stuff.”
