The Waifs To Return To Core Sound On Fourth Album

Australia’s Beat magazine caught up with Josh Cunningham of the Waifs who talked about the group’s fourth album due in January. “The next album is more of a return to the core of The Waifs sound; featuring more of the acoustic guitars, harmonies and harmonica,” Cunningham explained. “Our last record was quite produced and we put a lot of extra instruments on it, so it deviated a bit from the typical Waifs sound. With this album we’re returning to that more rootsy, more acoustic kind of sound.” has since removed the article.
