The Vandals Stand The Test Of Time

Vandals bandleader and founding member Joe Escalante talked candidly with Entertainment Today about everything from self releasing the new album to forging forward in a youth dominated genre. Asked how they’ve stood the test of time, Escalante responded, “Oh, ah, probably because we’re not really expecting much out of punk rock. We got a lot more out of it then we ever expected many, many years ago so anything we do now is just gravy… There’s a lot to learn from our mistakes and learn from things that keep us together and keep us going, but there are two different (types of) bands.” Ent-today.com has since shut down.
