The Strokes New Album Fizzles Out Of The Gate

Billboard reports that Jamie Foxx led the U.S. pop album charts for a second week Wednesday, while the latest release from New York rockers the Strokes opened at No. 4 with considerably weaker sales than their previous effort. Foxx’s ‘Unpredictable’ sold 131,000 copies for the week, again edging Mary J. Blige, who held at No. 2 with 118,000 copies. sold just 88,000 copies of their third album ‘First Impressions of Earth’.
