The Odditorium Buy Helped The Dandy Warhols Stay Focused
The Dandy Warhols are out with their fifth album, ‘Odditorium Or Warlords Of Mars’, created in their recently acquired recording studio The Odditorium. “We’re more efficient now,” keyboardist Zia McCabe tells Time Off magazine. “It takes less time because we’ve got a building where everything can be handled. It’s in a location where our friends are always stopping by but when they are there they don’t inhibit our work, which is what happened when we made the ‘Monkeyhouse’ album. The living room and kitchen was between the control room and where the gear was, so every time you walked between tracks you would have to stop and have a beer with your friends. It was really distracting.”
