took home Best New Artist in a Video at Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards for ‘Mr. Brightside’. Upon accepting the honor, the Las Vegas band told the Miami crowd, “Hello, everybody. I think we just made history because Snoop Dogg just gave the — gave The Killers a video award. We’re pretty happy about that. We’re going to thank some people.
