Josh Bell of Las Vegas Weekly reviewed The Donnas performance at Huntridge Theatre on Monday (January 27). Bell writes, “The Donnas sauntered onstage in their hey-we’re-girls-and-don’t-you-forget-it outfits (peasant blouse, pigtails, a bright orange, tight dress). In true punk-rock style, the band packed 17 songs into barely an hour-long set, including 11 from its latest release and major-label debut, ‘Spend the Night’. Although there’s a tendency for some of the tunes—with their bubblegum hooks and similar lyrics about sex and partying—to run together, the band could have played a little longer and maybe thrown in more older songs or one of their popular ’80s rock covers.” Lasvegasweekly.com has since removed the article.
