The Distillers Wring Punk Pleasure From Tabloid Drama

Mikael Wood of Seattle Weekly tried to get behind the details of the Distillers singer Brody Dalle’s recent breakup with Rancid’s Tim Armstrong, after she left the singer for Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme. Distillers guitarist Tony Bradley wasn’t in the mood to talk about the taboo subject though. “I don’t mean to sound like a dick, but I really don’t wanna talk about this at all,” he said. “All I have to say about it is that it’s kind of strange when your life is being played out in the media. Obviously people want to know about it and people are gonna write about it and stuff, and I understand that, but it’s something that I would rather not talk about. It’s hard. It’s really fu**ed.”
