The Darkness Singer In A Mistaken Identity Case
The New York Post reports the Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins nearly missed a coveted cover shoot for Spin magazine the other day after cops held him for two hours at Kennedy Airport. Police were looking for a wanted criminal coincidentally named Justin Hawkins who beared a passing resemblance to the singer. Hawkins was released after his manager showed cops a tour schedule which proved Hawkins was playing in England on July 4, when the other Hawkins allegedly committed his crime.
