Teenage Fanclub Return After 4-Year Break
Teenage Fanclub frontman Norman Blake spoke with the Glasgow Daily Record about the band’s plans to release a new album in April after a four-year absence. “It’s not too different to what we’ve done before, more a continuation,” Blake said of the album, titled ‘Man-made’. “We’ve changed stylistically over the years and there has been a lot of technique development. Before maybe our sound was a little more primitive. We played one of the tracks, Save, at the tsunami concert and it went down well. We don’t have plans for a single just yet though. We are going to be playing a few gigs in Glasgow soon. I’m not going to tell you where but it will be announced next week.”
