Courtney Love’s mother Linda Carroll spoke with The New York Daily News about her new book ‘Her Mother’s Daughter’, revealing the last time she was together with her daughter was at the funeral of Love’s late husband Kurt Cobain. “I haven’t spoken with her in a couple of years,” Carroll said. “She’s my child and I’m open to it, but when she’s using [drugs], the calls are horrible.” As for reports that Love, now slimmed down, has been shaking her drug habit, Carroll said, “I would love for her to be okay, and I respect her for what she’s going through, working to get off the drugs.
