Dee Snider Suffers Embarrassing Moment In Brighton

The latest edition of the newsletter reports that when Twisted Sister performed in Brighton last week, frontman Dee Snider gave a shout-out to the crowd, saying, “The balcony is where all the REAL sick motherfu**ers are. They can’t even stand up by show time. Let’s have the house lights up to see them!” When the House lights were raised, the band and audience found themselves looking back at the disabled section of the crowd, full of fans in wheelchairs.

Twisted Sister’s French On Touring With Scorpions

Twisted Sister guitarist Jay Jay French has posted the following message regarding the band’s recently completed European mini-tour: “We want to thank all of our new fans in Spain for the amazing response that you gave us following our show with the Scorpions in Granada. The reviews have been just as amazing.”

Snider: Twisted Sister Reuniting Is ‘Healing’

The Long Island Press spoke with Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider and asked the singer what it is like to perform again with the hair metal band. “It’s healing. That’s a good word for it,” he responded. “I mean, we’re doing it for all the right reasons, it hasn’t been a desperation move…I’m doing better now than I was then. I’ve got a voiceover career, I’ve got a radio career, I do a lot of television stuff and films and screenplays, and Van Helsing’s Curse…[Twisted Sister] got together because it’s something we had to do to end on a more positive note. We ended on a horribly sour note, and now we’re friends again, we’re enjoying each other’s company, and we’re having fun at the shows. Fans have been enjoying the shows, so it works for everybody.”
