Twin Atlantic are following up the release of their ‘Yes, I Was Drunk’ music video with the news that they will be joining The Used on their upcoming fall tour. The Scottish rock band, featuring frontman Sam McTrusty, guitarist Barry McKenna, bassist Ross McNae and drummer Craig Kneale, will accompany the Warped Tour headliners across the US from Pomona, California to Boise, Idaho, joined by Stars in Stereo. The band’s latest single, ‘Yes, I Was Drunk’, comes from their sophomore album ‘Free’, which is available now on iTunes. Twin are currently performing on the Vans Warped Tour and are giving away a ‘Freemixes’ download every Tuesday during the tour.

Twin Atlantic have released the official video for ‘Yes, I Was Drunk’, the latest single from the Scottish rock band’s sophomore album ‘Free’, out now on Red Bull Records. The band are currently supporting the record on Warped Tour, and have teamed up with Alternative Press to give 5 lucky fans a private performance at each stop.
Twin Atlantic have announced plans for a U.S. tour supporting AWOLNATION along with Middle Class Rut. The trek begins November 2nd in Bakersfield, California and concludes on November 23rd in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The Glasgow, Scotland band is touring in support of their debut full-length ‘Free’, which was recorded at Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica, California with legendary producer Gil Norton. In describing the batch of songs that make up ‘Free’, frontman Sam McTrusty said, “We wanted there to be a brutal honesty in the lyrics. There are love songs and relationship songs, there are some with a party vibe, and there are some that are weird, heavy and grungy pop songs.”
McTrusty added that Twin Atlantic are excited to get back to the states for their first U.S. tour since the release of ‘Free’. “Touring in America is such a great experience; we love the music culture over there and everything that surrounds it,” he said. “Really looking forward to touring with two bands we love and getting to make new fans and play our new record to the fans we’ve already made stateside.”

Twin Atlantic will release ‘Free’, the follow-up to the Glasgow band’s 2009 mini-album ‘Vivarium’, digitally on May 3rd in the U.S. via Red Bull Records.
‘Free’ was recorded at Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica with producer Gil Norton (Foo Fighters, Pixies, Jimmy Eat World). In describing the new batch of songs, frontman Sam McTrusty explained, “We wanted there to be a brutal honesty in the lyrics. There are love songs and relationship songs, there are some with a party vibe, and there are some that are weird, heavy and grungy pop songs.” Guitarist Barry McKenna added, “Personally the only thing I wanted to achieve from this whole process is an album the four of us could stand by and invest ourselves in. We have done that.”
