The Used Announce They Will Be Playing The 2012 Vans Warped Tour

This Summer marks the 10-year anniversary of The Used performing on the Vans Warped Tour, and they will celebrate by returning to the Main Stage this year. Founder Kevin Lyman sat down with The Used front man Bert McCracken to announce the news. Watch it via YouTube below.

The band’s fifth studio album ‘Vulnerable’ was released Monday (March 26) the bands label Anger Music Group partnered with Hopeless Records. The band chose to go back in the studio with Jon Feldman, who had accompanied them on 2007’s ‘Lies for the Liars’, 2004’s ‘In Love And Death’, 2003’s ‘Maybe Memories’ and their first self-titled album from 2002. Bassist Jeph Howard said working with Feldman on this album “was very positive. We really went out and expanded on this album. I’m excited for it to be more then a typical Used record.”

Dan Whitesides Gets His Record Breaking Zit Popped

Footage of Dan Whitesides’ zit getting popped while at Big Bear 2010 has been posted at The Used’s YouTube channel. The Utah band joked that the blemish was “the largest zit on record by both the Guiness Book of Records and by Dr. Michael P. Keaton D.D.S. With Dr. Keaton’s help and continued support this video has been published for medical research and instructional films worldwide. In addition to helping billions in the classroom, this film, and afore mentioned zit itself, have been able to raise money for O.R.B.Z. (Orphans with Really Bigass Zits) by being the producer of the main ingredient in what is now known as ProActive solutions.” Watch the drummer’s puss-filled predicament below.

The Used’s latest YouTube clip promoting their new album ‘Artwork’ features the Utah rock group enjoying beers and stacking the cans beeramid style at a an airport bar in Asia. Bert McCracken also showed off some luggage cart choreography.

On The Road With The Used

The Used posted some footage of life on the road, featuring singer Bert McCracken behaving bizarrely as usual at a gas station, the guys bouncing a medicine ball in a hotel gym, and warning not to smoke near gas pumps. Watch the hijinks via YouTube below.
