The Sounds Announce North American Headlining Fall Tour

The Sounds have announced a North American Fall headlining tour, kicking off October 12th in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The tour’s special pre-sale includes bundles, unreleased remixes and more. “We love to tour in the States. It actually feels like our second home,” guitarist Felix Rodriguez said about their their first national headlining tour two years. “We can’t wait to get back!”

The Sounds will be on the road in support of their latest album ‘Something To Die For’, joined by Natalia Kills and The Limousines. DJs Kids At the Bar will be spinning in between the sets to add to the celebratory party atmosphere. “Our shows are energy, just pure energy,” Felix added. “We have the best fans and it really triggers us when we see our crowd go nuts. That makes us play better. They make us play better.”

The tour presale started yesterday with a limited amount of tickets directly from The Sounds at their official site and Facebook. For an additional $10 added to the presale ticket, fans will be able to purchase a special “bundle” which will include the following digital downloads:

The Sounds Build A Fan Base

A Dream Come Foo For The Sounds

Opening for bands like the Foo Fighters and the Strokes wound up being some of the biggest crowds The Sounds had played, and also gave them the chance to meet some personal musical heroes. “With the Foo Fighters it was awesome,” guitarist Felix Rodriguez tells Toronto’s NOW magazine. “We played in front of, like, 10,000 people, and since I was such a big Nirvana fan, it was flattering that (Dave) Grohl liked our music.” Read more.
