Corey Taylor and Jim Root from Stone Sour and Slipknot played Fuse TV’s word association game. “Fans are the last bastion of why we do this really,” Root said. “Yeah we write songs for ourselves and we do all that stuff, but at the end of the day with all the downloading and all that free stuff that’s going on, the only way for us to get out there and do what we do is to play live. Corey Taylor sat down and discussed each track on Stone Sour’s new album ‘Audio Secrecy’, featuring ‘Say You’ll Haunt Me’, ‘Mission Statement’, ‘Hesitate’ and ‘Unfinished’. On the latter track, Taylor said, “Lyrically, it’s just about that unfinished business that is always kind of a byproduct of a relationship that goes terribly wrong. Just knowing that you’re not going to get any kind of reciprocity from that person.
