Shimon Moore of Sick Puppies spoke with Beatweek Magazine about when fans can expect a full-length follow-up to their 2009 album ‘Tri-Polar’ and recently released EP ‘Polar Opposite’. “It’s just ideas,” the frontman said. “Melodies come to you and ideas of lyrics, a chorus here, a verse there, a riff there. We pretty much just compile all the ideas but we don’t focus on finishing anything while we’re on the road because it takes a different type of focus. The place where we’re at right now is a very lucky place to be and we don’t want to do it wrong, so we’re going to make sure we’re ready and that the songs are better than the last record.”
