And you always get the moments every year when a really stupid pop song hits you and you really like it and you feel really guilty and embarressed. I definitely have my love affair with ‘These Words’, it’s just that chorus, the harmony.”

Razorlight took part in a Q&A with ‘Top of the Pops’ and were asked for their thoughts on 15 songs, including hits from Madonna, Guns N’ Roses, Britney Spears, New Kids On The Block, and Kylie Minogue. Asked about Britney’s ‘Toxic’, frontman Johnny Borrell said, “Ahh, that’s a terrible song!” As for Spears in general? “Of doing what with Britney? If she’s just there, not moving,” he asked. “She had one good pop song, didn’t she? The first one, and then the rest of it was just a load of nonsense and not even as good. But I think she’s quite cool, actually.”
