Fox 5 in Atlanta reports that Kid Rock was arrested in Atlanta overnight in connection with a brawl at a Waffle House in DeKalb County. The rocker visited the restaurant at 5:15 AM on Sunday morning after performing at The Tabernacle. A customer there recognized a woman in Rock’s entourage, and the two exchanged words, followed by an argument, followed by a fight in the parking lot. Police then arrested Rock, five members of his entourage, and the guy which prompted the brawl, Harlen Akins, charging him with one felony count of second degree criminal damage to property for allegedly smashing a window at the restaurant. Rock was released from DeKalb County jail just after 5 PM on Sunday.
Even though Kid Rock is celebrating his first time atop the Billboard album charts this week with ‘Rock N Roll Jesus’, Billboard reports the Detroit rocker’s manager, Ed ‘Punch’ Andrews, has decided to retire. Rock has reportedly replaced Andrews with Nashville-based Vector Management, whose roster includes Bon Jovi and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Neither party could be reached for comment. Alyssa Lipsky, one of the models who posed with Kid Rock on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, spoke with Steppin’ Out magazine’s Chaunce Hayden about ending up on the rocker’s tour bus between New York and Detroit. “We drank a ton of beer and vodka and danced and sang the whole way,” she said. When she said Rock “had such a big heart,” she was asked if there was anything else big regarding Robert Ritchie. “I’ll just say this: Pam Anderson wouldn’t have married him if he wasn’t as impressive as Tommy Lee.”
Kid Rock was spotted out to dinner at New York City’s Cipriani’s with models Noemie Lenoir and Diana Jenkins on Monday night (October 8).

In an interview with Blender magazine’s November issue, Kid Rock shared his thoughts on the ‘American Idol’ juggernaut. “It sucks,” he opined. “I think they should allow songwriters in. Someone singing a song they wrote – there’s nothing more powerful. But whatever, they’re doing fine; they don’t need me, and I don’t need them.”
