Imagine Dragons Join AWOLNATION On Fall Tour

Imagine Dragons ‘It’s Time’ Video Behind The Scenes

Imagine Dragons 'It's Time'

Imagine Dragons have just shared a behind the scenes video about the making of their epic and cinematic music video, ‘It’s Time’. In the clip, the members of the band talk about the inspiration for the video, which was shot on a dry lake bed in Barstow, California. “I just feel like the song is about being bigger than yourself,” lead singer Dan Reynolds explained, “and I don’t think you can get a place bigger than this place.” It also shows the hard work that went into the band’s first-ever video shoot, which left the band a bit bruised and sunburned but ultimately grateful for their journey so far.

‘It’s Time’ is the first single from the band’s latest EP, ‘Continued Silence’, available now on iTunes via KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records. Fans can also check out the new Penguin Prison remix of the track, streaming now on Soundcloud.

Imagine Dragons ‘It’s Time’ Video

Imagine Dragons are out with the music video to their new single ‘It’s Time’, off the Las Vegas, Nevada indie rock group’s latest EP ‘Continued Silence’, released in February on Interscope/KIDinaKORNER.

“Any time I hear music, I also see visuals in my mind,” Imagine Dragons singer Dan Reynolds said about the video, which was shot on a dry lake bed in Barstow, California. “‘It’s Time’ is an emotional song that was written at a very transitional period of my life. I’ve always loved conceptual videos that leave room for the viewer room to interpret it in a way that is most personal to them. That is what we tried to do with this video. The director had a great vision for representing the song’s meaning in a subtle way. We wanted the video to be cinematic and true to the song.”
