Hundred Reasons Surprised To Win Best Album Award

Hundred Reasons were able to pull out a victory at Tuesday’s Kerrang! rock awards, much to their own surprise. “We were absolutely convinced that we weren’t going to win anything, so we’re absolutely amazed,” guitarist Larry Hibbitt told BBC News Online. The group won the best album prize for their debut, ‘Ideas Above Our Station’, beating out Nickelback, System Of A Down, Sum 41 and Puddle of Mudd. Read more.

Hundred Reasons chatted with Mary Ann Hobbs of Radio 1 last month while on tour with Ozzy Osbourne’s Ozzfest. When asked about ‘The Osbournes’ star and whether he has become a comedy figure, Larry responded, “I think Ozzie’s a comedy figure with people who aren’t into his music. I think his TV show is going to bring him to a wider audience. I’ve heard it’s very funny. I heard him say that if people want to pay millions of dollars to watch him walking around his house scratching his arse, that’s fair enough!”
