Halestorm has slated an epic touring schedule in support of their chart-topping new album ‘The Strange Case Of…’ The new dates comprise a wide range of shows, including a U.S. headline tour, high profile festival appearances, a European trek, and a series of support slots alongside Avenged Sevenfold. Halestorm Discuss Influences, Missing Out On Grunge & Talent Contests

Halestorm recently took over the Kerrang! Video Podcast. The Pennsylvania band discussed their musical influences being a lot of ’70s and ’80s hard rock and metal, Arejay and Lzzy Hale missing the grunge scene growing up, the Scottish band that share the similar name Alestorm, and how kids teasing Arejay and Lzzy as “the Halestorm is here” when they walked into class helped influence the band’s name.
