Gossip have just revealed the artwork for their fifth studio album ‘A Joyful Noise’, which is out in May 22nd on Columbia Records. Recorded in producer Brian Xenomania studio in England and KBC Studios in Portland, Oregon, ‘A Joyful Noise’ stays true to the Beth Ditto fronted group’s trademark brash and unapologetic nature. Ditto proclaimed, “I spent the whole year listening to ABBA and not listening to the radio,” accounting for the pulsing energy of ‘A Joyful Noise’.
Barclaycard Unwind caught up with Gossip singer Beth Ditto backstage at the Wireless Festival in London, England over the weekend. The 29-year-old discussed how she enjoys parties until they get too crowded, her poor snooker skills, what she likes most about festivals, her plus sized clothing line, not taking to heat well, groupies, her makeup and her style entourage.
