Fall Out Boy ‘Folie A Deux’ Concert Airing On Fuse

Fuse will be broadcasting an intimate, exclusive Fall Out Boy concert on the same night that their new album, ‘Folie A Deux’ is released in stores on Tuesday, December 16th. The show will be filmed in the group’s home town of Chicago at the historic Chicago Theatre on December 2nd, where they will be performing the disc in its entirety.

“We’re thrilled to be working with Fall Out Boy to commemorate the launch of their newest album and provide fans with a front row ticket, live from the Chicago Theatre and on-air at Fuse,” said Matt Farber, EVP, Programming, Development & Digital. “As the only national music network, this strengthens our commitment to bring Fuse viewers more live music programming from their favorite artists.”

The concert will air on Fuse on Tuesday, December 16th, at 9:00PM ET/PT.

Fall Out Boy Discuss Obama Victory On ‘TRL’

Fall Out Boy visited ‘Total Request Live’ in New York City on Wednesday (November 5), talking about the election of Barack Obama as the 44th U.S. President and why they think the young voters embraced him. Pete Wentz also spoke about his connection to Vice President-Elect Joe Biden. “Actually I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Joe Biden,” the bassist said. “[My Parents] met working on his campaign, so I guess everyone can either thank Joe Biden, or not like Joe Biden because that’s the only reason I exist.” Watch the comments below.

Fall Out Boy’s Pete And Patrick Visit LA’s KIIS FM

Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy were in the studio with Ryan Seacrest of KIIS FM in Los Angeles on Thursday (October 30), promoting their new album ‘Folie à Deux’, out December 16th. The guys talked about losing all 31 of their bags in Toronto, how residue from their concert pyro sometimes shows up at the airport screening, the story behind the new album’s title, Pete beind “on call permanently” for his very pregnant wife Ashlee Simpson to give birth, Patrick screwing up at a Detroit concert asking how the Buffalo fans were to a chorus of boos, and more.

Patrick Stump Discusses Fall Out Boy’s Lost Luggage

Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy was on the phone with Jackie & Bender of KISS 106.1 FM in Seattle the other day to promote their appearance at the station’s Jingle Bell Bash 2008 concert. Stump talked about his surprise about influencing fashion, looking for clothes at a shopping mall in Toronto after the band all lost their bags upon arriving in Toronto, having to buy clothes while bandmate Pete Wentz gets free stuff, and more. Stump wouldn’t say which airline lost all the luggage, but was worried because there was some stuff the guys needed for their show that night. Audio at kissfmseattle.com has since been removed.

Paint Fight On The Cab’s ‘Bounce’ Video

Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy stopped by the set of The Cab’s ‘Bounce’ video to share a story of the inspiration for the paint fight. Alex DeLeon also talked about the concept for the video. “I was eating Arby’s, a medium roast beef if you really wanted to know, and just came up with an idea,” Alex explained. “A really clean and crisp, all white, and then kind of have like a paint fight to create the art.” Watch highlights from the shoot and the paint fight via YouTube below.

‘Folie a Deux’ Presidential Seal On Rodeo Drive

Fall Out Boy commissioned artist Ken Garduno to create a print of the ‘Folie a Deux’ presidential seal. The Chicago pop punk group limited the prints to 100, which are being released in many different ways. A couple weeks ago, after seeing all the luxury stores on Rodeo Drive, bassist Pete Wentz decided he wanted to be able to put some of their own merchandise on the well known street, depositing a FOB dressed dummy holding the seal in the middle of the road. Fall Out Boy At The Democratic National Convention

Wall Street Journal Reporter Sara Murray interviewed Fall Out Boy at the Rock the Vote concert at the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado on Tuesday (August 26). They were there for the non partisan Rock The Vote, but it was pretty clear they were supporting Barack Obama. As for the election day release of their new album ‘Folie à Deux’ on November 4th, the band are encouraging people to go vote and then buy their record that day.
