Anselmo, where the ex-Pantera leader talked about writing tracks on the group’s recently released third studio album ‘Down III: Over the Under’, why they selected that title, and the personal meaning behind the lyrics. “‘Over The Under’ really implies every bit of devastation all of us have been through,” Anselmo said of the title. “Heart crushing experience. I do thank the will it took all of us to get together and create this record and to overcome.”

Down bassist Rex Brown spoke with Jason Bracelin of the Cleveland Scene about the band’s latest effort ‘II’ and what exactly went into its recording. Brown revealed, “There’s a lot of stuff that we could have gone back and rerecorded, but the vibe of the whole deal just kept getting more fu**ing crazy as we were doing it.
