Joe Elliott Previews Def Leppard’s Headlining Download Show
NME talked to Joe Elliott on the eve of Def Leppard’s Sunday headline show at Download 2009 at Donington Park tonight. The singer talked about their prior performance in 1986 opening ahead of Scorpions and Ozzy Osbourne, which he said was more daunting because they hadn’t cracked the UK yet. Joe said they’d mix old and new, recognizing because it’s a festival the audience prefers stuff they know. Watch the comments below.
