Stone Sour Responds To CKY Frontman’s Diss

Corey Taylor and Jim Root from Stone Sour stopped by MuchMusic and were informed about CKY frontman Deron Miller telling that the last thing he destroyed was “a Stone Sour CD”. CKY Confirm Cancelled Guns N’ Roses Tour

CKY posted on their official website earlier today: “GUNS N ROSES TOUR CANCELLED !! TYPICAL. And freakishly EXPECTED. Haha. They really fu**ed the Philly fans over, really bad idea. I wouldnt suggest they come back… So.. we are going home after over 50 shows… From our own headlining shows to Tony Hawk’s boom boom huck jam tour on to a month of the fu**ed up GNR tour. It has been great. CKY did play in NYC at Madison Square Garden (legendary) and in Philly at the cancelled FU center show on Friday. So we played the (2nd) cancelled show that resulted in a Philly riot. Part of history. Glad to be part of it. More history to come. We are definately phsyched to take a short break and get back to more playing and fu**ing sh** up the way we like it. Better the change.”

CKY’s Miller Has An Opinion About Every Rock Act

CKY singer Deron Miller took part in a 20 questions segment with in a remarkably candid interview. Miller seemed to have knowledge in every genre of music, even hair metal acts. He’s no fan of Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst, rating him .000002 on a scale of 1 to 10. “I’m waiting for him to take Whoopie Goldberg’s place as the center square [on Hollywood Squares].” He later added Durst was “void of talent or anything worth paying attention to. I still don’t get it at all.” Miller also had bad things to say about Godsmack frontman Sully Erna, Motley Crue’s Vince Neil, Kid Rock, and Courtney Love. CKY is currently on tour with Guns N’ Roses — and don’t worry, Axl Rose is spared from his scorn. Read more.

CKY Guitarist Almost Dies Shooting Video

MTV News caught up with CKY guitarist Chad Ginsburg who almost died shooting the ‘Escape From Hellview’ video when the group decided it would be cool to hang him from a tree. Since the grass-roots band self-financed the shoot on a meager budget, the only stunt coordinator they could afford turned out to be unqualified. The harness he tied around Ginsburg wasn’t secure enough, and the guitarist almost died. “I hung there for close to a minute,” Ginsburg said. “I passed out 10 seconds in, but they didn’t know until my body was flailing. I never came that close to dying. If you want to see that footage, it’s gonna be on the next DVD that we release.” Read more.
