Circa Survive has announced that they will be performing at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this year. The Doylestown, Pennsylvania band will be playing on Sunday, April 12th and Sunday, April 19th alongside major acts including Drake, Florence and the Machine, Brand New, Jenny Lewis, Built To Spill, Touché Amoré, Joyce Manor, and more.
Circa Survive recently released their new album, Descensus, which sold 19,414 copies in its first week, surpassing the first week sales of their last album, Violent Waves. Circa Survive checked in with their Facebook fans on April 16th, revealing that they are beginning work on a follow-up to their 2010 album ‘Blue Sky Noise’. The Doylestown, Pennsylvania rock band write:
Circa has entered the studio to record our fourth full length record. We have decided to produce this record ourselves and have been extremely excited, inspired and invigorated by the process. We can’t wait for you to hear it.

Circa Survive checked in with fans with details on their upcoming tour which will preview some songs on the Philadelphia experimental rock group’s upcoming album. They write:
Over the past week or so we’ve been going through the mixing process for our new album and things are sounding amazing. (we’ll talk more about that soon) in other news we’ve been rehearsing everyday and with that said are so excited to announce our first shows of 2010. In addition to what’s already familiar we’ll be playing a few new songs, so this should be a blast… can’t wait to dance and sing with all of you, its been far too long.
