Jon Bon Jovi sat down for an interview with ‘CNBC Meets’ host Tania Bryer, where the Bon Jovi frontman discussed his upbringing, having a passion and dedication to his philanthropic work and more. The rocker also took Tania on a tour of a Philadelphia neighborhood that is one of many affordable housing projects helmed by the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation.

Billboard editor Craig Marks spoke with The Star-Ledger about New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi getting nominated for a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. “Sure, they’re not the typical ‘rock critic band’, but it’s good to see that they’re not getting punished for that,” Marks said, adding that the band’s frontman should be particularly pleased with the potential honor. “Jon Bon Jovi has got to be so excited right now. Throughout his career, he’s always felt that he’s been denied access to that rock elite VIP area. This gets him into the inner circle, regardless of what the critics might say.” Read more.

Billboard caught up with Jon Bon Jovi in a Q&A, asking the frontman about Bon Jovi’s tour in support of their latest album ‘The Circle’ and how it differs from the past few tours the Jersey rockers have embarked on. “You try to push the boundaries of the production, first and foremost,” Bon Jovi said. “We always have a lot of great give and take between the whole production team. Then, you’re always excited to play new songs. With the visuals that accompany some of the old songs, again we tried to push those boundaries wider, broader, bigger. There’s interaction between us and that stage. To me the stage is a living, breathing entity in itself, especially the indoor production. I’m just astounded by it, I think they outdid themselves.” Check out the entire transcript at Billboard.com.
