Zakk Wylde spoke with Denis Armstrong of the Ottawa Sun about backing Ozzy Osbourne on guitar on his current tour as well as his new album, ‘The Blessed Hellride’, with his side project Black Label Society. “The new album’s about the daily grind,” sid Wylde. “Everyone has crap we have to do every day. Launch.com reports Zakk Wylde was asked how the invasion of Iraq is affecting his tour plans both with Black Label Society and with Ozzy Osbourne. He is taking a wait-and-see attitude. “The Ozzfest obviously was talking about going over to Europe,” Wylde said. “Who knows if we’re still going by that time and things are starting to get ugly or whatever, but you know…We’ll see what happens. I think it’s more down to the terrorism thing, because I don’t think it will have anything to do with [combat] because we have the best troops in the world, so I mean they’re just going to go over there and crush and dominate and then they can get everybody back home.”
