Abandon All Ships Release ‘Infamous’, Head Out On Tour

Abandon All Ships band

After spending a year and a half on tour supporting their debut record ‘Geeving’, Abandon All Ships returned to City Tape Studios in their hometown of Toronto, Ontario to begin working on the next record ‘Infamous’. The album was released earlier this month on Rise Records.

Teaming up with the same production team Medeuxa (made up of Anthony Calabretta & Mark Spicoluk), which helped craft ‘Geeving’, the band took their unique brand of Euro infused hardcore to new heights, opening the door to many new influences, and not letting anything hold them back.

Launching 2012 with a completely sold out U.S. tour with label mates Sleeping With Sirens and embarking on this summers Scream It Like You Mean It Tour (with We Came As Romans & Attack Attack), the band have already started mapping out a tour schedule more rigorous the one in support of their debut.

Abandon All Ships Recording ‘Infamous’ Album

Abandon All Ships 'Infamous'

Abandon All Ships vocalist Angelo Aita checked in with fans to announce the Canadian rock group’s second studio album will be entitled ‘Infamous’. Aita writes:

I’ve dropped a lot of hints, mentioned it in some interviews but I have never just came out and said what’s up. We’re right in the middle of recording our sophomore record, set to be done before the end of February. The record will be called “Infamous”, and provided all goes well, we’re planning for a late spring / early summer release. We’re happy to have Anthony Calabretta and Mark Spicoluk back in the producer chairs, recording in our home town of Toronto at City Tape Studios…the only way we know how to do it.
