Peter S. Scholtes of City Pages reviewed ’s latest album ‘How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb’, and is not impressed with Bono & Co. Scholtes writes, “In sonic terms, the group’s ideology has translated into a long and awkward dance with their own hugeness and with the hugeness of their sound, which grew alternately ponderous (1987’s ‘The Joshua Tree’, when the Edge began making a series of bad headwear choices) and square like your dad at the club (1991’s ‘Achtung Baby’ onward).” The full review at has since been removed.
