Sugarcult Gives Up A Lot On The Road
Brendan Manley of the Long Island Press spoke with Sugarcult vocalist/guitarist Tim Pagnotta about the downside of the band’s constant time on the road. “When you tour as much as we tour, you grow exponentially, but in some areas you feel like you could grow, but you’re held back by this constant touring,” he explained. “I look around, and you give up a lot. Some of my friends now are married and have kids. It’s sad because I want those things too, but I don’t want them to come with a price. I want to be home and around, but it seems like the more you [succeed] the more they don’t go together.”
