Dave DiMartino of Launch.com recently caught up with Godsmack frontman Sully Erna and asked him if the band’s success and it’s financial rewards has changed his life. “I would like to think not, I think it has an affect on you to a certain degree, I don’t think it’s really changed us as individuals, or personality wise,” he said. “It’s just really nice to be able to pay your bills, but we’re at work so much we haven’t really had time to like perceive ourselves like other people do. So we just stay out here and go through the grind and when we get home it’s nice to be able to go out to the store and get some Christmas presents without looking at the price tag all the time.” The entire interview transcript at Launch.com has since been removed.
