Stone Sour Ain’t Selling Out Slipknot Fans
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel spoke with Jim Root of Stone Sour as well as Slipknot. Asked what he had to say about Slipknot fans saying he and Corey Taylor are selling out by putting out a more radio-friendly album with the side project, Root said, “As far as selling out is concerned, that’s fu**ing bullsh**. The minute you go into a studio with a guitar, you’re selling out. I play music because I love music and I love playing guitar, and I want to reach as many people as possible with my music.” The full story at jsonline.com has since been removed.
