Steven Tyler To Appear In ‘Get Shorty’ Sequel

The Boston Herald reports Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler had filmed a few scense with John Travolta in his new flick ‘Be Cool’ while in Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards. The movie is a sequel to ‘Get Shorty,’ which is based on the Elmore Leonard best-seller. “Leonard is a pal, he was always hanging around backstage,” Tyler said, “and he said ‘I’m gonna write you guys into my next book.’ We took it with a huge grain of salt, but sure enough, he did.” Tyler will play himself in the flick. “The story is that they’re trying to make this girl a star and they’re ‘trying to find Tyler to have a listen’.”
