‘Spider-Man’ Wins Favorite Soundtrack At AMAs

The ‘Spider-Man’ soundtrack, backed by the Chad Kroeger and Josey Scott hit ‘Hero’ won the American Music Award last night for Favorite Soundtrack. Executive producer Glen Brunman accepted the award telling the audience, “Thank you very much. On behalf of the producers, I want to thank all of the artists for giving us such fantastic music that helped us achieve this award. Our special thanks to Chad Kroeger and Josie Scott for ‘Hero.’ One of the great movie songs of this or any year. Thanks to director Sam Raimi and all the filmmakers, thanks to everyone at Sony Pictures, Columbia Records, Roadrunner, Island Def Jam and Sony Music. Finally, thanks to the fans for supporting this movie and this record. And for voting this award to ‘Spider-Man.’ Lots of love to Jamie, Mariel, Caleb and Murphy. Thank you very much.”
